Yet they failed to act on them! The board chose a short term damage control decision (which we believe is based on faulty economics anyway) instead of addressing the issue in a meaningful way. The result has been to damage the community and the children, but have no effect on the greater structural problems that have to be addressed in the next budget anyway.
