Shame on you as Quesnel School District trustees for deciding to award your
administrators raises while forcing elementary school children to ride the
school bus 2 hours a day!

I've recently been to Wells and am horrified that young children will be
bussed all the way to Quesnel in the winter time. This is a winding and
treacherous road - I can only imagine the stress for parents and children
that your decision has caused.

In a school district closer to my home (Nelson-Kootenays) the trustees used
the special rural allowance to keep some of their small schools open (which
is the purpose of the special money you also receive for your small
schools) I am pleased that there are some trustees within the province able
to make good and responsible (although difficult) decisions.

I sincerely hope that you as trustees will have the courage to revisit this
situation and reverse your decision for the good of those small children in
the Wells area whose education and well being you are "entrusted" with.

regards
